I think I've pinned down the clipping that my histogram is saying is happening. The kit lens on my GH13 or a f1.4 50mm both spike off the histogram. I couldn't make a change in the camera that would actually make the gram show correctly and oddly the images look correct and the histogram viewed in Aperture show up as not spiked so I'm thinking that it's the 4:2:2 profile I have loaded in the camera. I can't seem to change it without putting using ptools and I am not sure I can get the exact same settings I have in the camera back out by just looking. It's beyond stable but I'm not seeing write spikes over 22 mbps.
So 2 questions, does the 4:2:2 mess with the histogram (as I assume it's looking for a 4:2:0 profile)?
Is there a way to view the current firmware or dump the current as I don't have the SD card that applied it?
