I've finally decided to purchase the Cavision 3x3 matt box, and I need some help on finding sources for the filters.
I have found some, but extra input would be appreciated.
Ps- do the Cokin P series work with this matt box?
First of all, confirm that the Cavision mattbox holds standard 4mm thick 3x3 glass filters.
This size was more popular a few years ago, more recently 4x4 is becoming the video standard for Mattboxes for MiniDV and now the new HDV format camcorders.
Schneider still has a good inventory of 3x3's, and many are even on sale at the moment, visit our website www.centuryoptics.com for more info and to find the name of a dealer. You can also call our sales dept at 1-800-228-1254 for information.
