Hi everyone!
Well it looks like we can expect a lot of people at the meeting, so here are some final details.
Location of meeting:
510 Front St. West, Main Floor, near the main entrance, the room we will be in is not in Creative Post, but right beside it. There will be signs leading to the meeting area. If you show up at Creative Post, someone will be there to point you in the right direction.
Directions:
510 Front St. West is located at the corner of Portland and Front St. West, between Bathurst and Spadina on the north side. It is closer to Bathurst than Spadina.

Doug from Kingsway has generously offered to be our sponsor!
So expect some sandwiches and drinks. He is also bringing lenses, a lighting kit and tripod for the P&S Mini 35 adapter.
What we need:
For those who are bringing their camera, thank you! If we don't end up using your camera please don't be disappointed. We need a total of 2 cameras. I know in a earlier post I said we'd showcase 4 cameras, however we only have room for 2. I am bringing my camera with the Panasonic Anamorphic Lens and Cinetactics Mattebox. I need another camera for the P&S Mini 35 adapter. Some people have indicated to me already that they are bringing their camera, so I think we will be oK.
Please post to this thread if you are bringing your camera and lights. I also need an additional tripod.

If you are still volunteering to light a small scene please post again on this tread. Remember, I'm and editor, not a DOP! I'll need your help.
Schedule of events:
5:30-7:00 pm: Setup of lighting scenerio. All of those who are volunteering please show up for 5:30 pm at Creative Post.
6:30-7:00 pm: Meet and greet, food and drink, meet your fellow camera operators.
7:00-8:00 pm: Mini 35 Demo with questions.
8:00-8:20 pm: Demo of Cinetactics Mattleblox Anamorphic Kit (this includes their oversized French Flag). This is a cost effective solution for camera people who can't afford a Croziel.
8:20-9:00 pm: Discussion: Future of the club. Is this something we will continue with? Do we need a president? etc.
I will host this event and act as its chair. Any questions call 416 567 9008 or 416 979-7678 ask for Peter.
