GH1 3rd party MFT lens question.

I've taken some interest in some of the new third party lenses coming out for the mft format. I was curious that although they are not panasonic brand lenses, will the advertized 25mm still be a 25mm lens? I know that the sensor size causes doubling in non panasonic lenses but these lenses are designed for MFT, so should they still have the proper length?

Any input is appreciated.
 
Maybe I misunderstood the question.

A 25mm MFT lens will be a 25mm lens, panasonic or non-panasonic. And with the crop that would act like a 50mm on the 5D MK II and other fullframes, or a 30mm on a 550D.
With my GH2 I use the Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f0.95 and when filming with a Canon 60D we use the Sigma 30mm 1.4 which gives a very similar FoV.
 
Awesome. Thanks guys. I'm interested in the new sigma fisheye. It's a 7.5mm and looks to be pretty sharp, and a whole lot cheaper than the panasonic 8mm.
