3rd party lenses

[daveswan]

So....In your opinion, what "foreign" lenses work well on a 5DII?
I know Nikon are popular, but how about Leica R and Contax / Yashica?
I may be looking at manual lenses for my 5DI, and am also thinking about what would be useful if I bought a 5DII or even (Whisper it) a GH1. I'm not yet in the market for a 5DII, but if Canon bring out a firmware fix later in the year (Yeah, right!) I may spring.
I know this is all a bit nebulous at the moment, but I'd like to know what options I have.
Cheers,
Dave
