Oh and guys: GUESS YOU JUST CAME HOME WITH A SACHTLER HEAD?

Indeed I did just come home with a Sachtler head. 2 weeks back I took it to the service center because I thought it was broken, but it turns out I was pulling down on the quick release latch's safety

I must've looked like an ass

Anyway when we getting another meeting going? I totally missed the last one

I just got my follow focus and I am now officially ready to shoot. I will be doing some test and practice shots Sat at 10AM at the Balboa park in Encino, would anyone like to join in?

I too got my Sachtler head last week )

And this is my new case, so i can keep my adapter bolted on

Sweet deal man, I have yet to do any shooting on my HVX myself. While I did let some friends use it I could have gotten the 16gb p2 deal had I waited til I actually needed it, but hey, I've got my camera and it's there.

So let's all kick in the new year sometime. Weather here has been great last couple days

Alan, what are you going to use the HVX for?

I have decided to whip up a short before tackling my full feature, to get practice with lighting, lenses and work out any woopdeedoos I might encounter. You are welcome to join the fun if you want to get some practice. It will be shot all locally, Sherman oaks, Encino, North Hollywood, Calabasas.

Any chance we could start a new thread so it has a title that is more indicative of the current latest developments?
. . . Otherwise people might look at the current thread title, see the meeting date, see it is in the past and not even check out the thread... It would be good to have more communications and participation from everyone too, maybe we could share what we each are working on this new year... See how we can network and help each other... etc...
