3G SDI on AF100

Hello

could some one of you guys plz tell something about 3G HD SDI plz, i never did it and have never seen it done in real life yet, and has no idea about it at all....

what are the units that is worth to check out, maybe something from your own experience?

as i understand there should be 2 units - transmitter and receiver..... if u can recommend some budget models, and some higher level...


maybe some info about wifi units as well....... is there any soft or something available? i looked at that new canon 300 camcorder - and was kind of impressed with the ability to see everything on your smart phone and even ability to control the camcorder from smart phone ...... is there anything like that available for pany af100?

Just to be clear, 3G == "3 Gigabits per second" and it's usually over fiber-optic cable.

Check out the Kramer and the Meridian units. I think they run about 1k for a pair.

As far as i know, I know of no iPhone / smartphone apps to control the AF100. Since
it doesn't have WiFi built in, I'm not sure how that would work.....
