3D tracked footage

I've been working with boujou three a litte bit. I haven't worked with any dvx100a footage but I am coming onto a project that will.

What information did you feed to boujou? Filmback, etc. I've been letting the wizard do a lot of the work but it is definitly good to have that stuff locked down.

Any help would be great

thanks.

is my computer possessed? When i move through the timeline manually it starts getting all melty and tries to change perspectives but then everything gets all nuts.

Hey, that's pretty cool. I scrubbed manually back and forth and it did the same. Must be the QT player choking on jumping backwards through the timeline. It looks like it's getting confused on the diffs between frames.

Otherwise, the original clip is cool. Someone posted a link on this board to a research project that's doing this type of thing in realtime. Move the camera around and the digitial images are adjusted on the fly. Very cool.

Thats pretty sweet! I always wondered if this thing was all that possible with lowtech stuff. And the results pretty much surprised the peanut butter off of my PBJ.

Cool to see!

I hope that helps explain how it works....

Pardon me, but that is quite simply kick ass. You can work for years in this business and still never really scratch the surface of what can be done.

nice... but your ground looks wrong in LW, you should model the wall to help checking the camera position / perpective.
I got nice results testing DVX100a footage in bonjou and LW

good luck ! thanks for sharing,
Ulisses
