Yes, actually. I have to tell you...I am not a modeler. That is not the exercise that I am challenged with. I need to composite this car in an interior space. And, in order to do that, I must light and render this sucker...I never meant to choose a thesis with these requirements...but rather, the thesis chose me. I wanted a video project...I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do and ran with it...before I knew it...the product I wanted to sell (my commercial) began to take on a life of its own and began to demand its own software needs...before I knew it, and too late to change my exhaustive pre-visual work, I found myself in the midst of a project that could no longer utilize a video sequence (also, the MET in NYC wouldnt let me film there)...so, I had to use some high res digital stills, and have had to bring a 3D car model into the fold. Not my bag. So, I have to render this sucker to look real. I've taken some light probe shots...but am still learning how to use them...needless to say...I'm crapping myself right now...
I'll post a pic as soon as I figure out how to do it. Keep in mind, the pic will not look real. And, I've yet to figure out how to render, texture and light the wheels...but, I'll post what I have in hopes that someone, somewhere out there, will feel my pain and offer some wisdom...
