Perhaps if we ask if we can seperate the current 3D forum from 3D into something like 3D-CGI and 3D-Stereoscopic, or 3DS?

There's an obvious need for both.

I could run a Poll but those in favour just chime in. What do you think?
 
Yes good idea ! even now some people ask me if Toystory 1 really is 3d ....ofc they mean 3ds but then If I say yes its 3d then they say but you cant see it......I now I got abit off topic.
 
hehe. Yeah. Obviously by recent posts there's a strong interest in 3D stereo scopic discussion. I know at Red User, an affiliate of DvxUser, if you will, has a 3D section which is dedicated to 3DS. I think that's where some of the confusion is coming in here.
I understand a need for both and I think we all here recognize the need to make a distictiion between the two.

I'm not sure what else to say at this point other than that, haha. :) Cheers man.
