That's what I have been doing and it shows up at 499 for me....and doesn't say facebook in the right corner. Oh well, not meant to be I guess...

registering with the pany buyers club isn´t the same thing as ¨liking¨ pany on facebook - you need to go to pany and register with their buyers club separately on another tab - you need to be using the same name and email as your facebook account - have you guys heard of google ¿

This is annoying! I put the bundle offer in my cart for 375, great. Add the shipping, address etc... When I go to put my payment info in it jumps to 548! I called them, of course no help...I'll keep trying.
Is their a 'coupon code' I should be entering?

ok i just retried it and it looks like it is closed ....however i have to advise you to keep trying everyday - it took me 3 days for it to take for me - i tried and tried and it kept showing 499.95 without fail and then on the third day , bingo ....and possibly pany might open it again before the time period lapses - sorry -and my first package shows ups arrival on the 25th and weight of 2 1/2 lbs. which doesn´t sound like the lens , but who knows with this deal - if i get the camera with lens for 375 it will be a miracle and i´ll drop a few coins in the fountain - i hope they don´t send me a blueray player instead !!
well joe , maybe it´s a digital slot machine - like i said , it didn´t work for me for more than 2 days and then all of a sudden , and this afternoon on a test , no show- so i´d recommend for those still out , to keep trying - facebook , friends with pany , register with club pany , and then ....- I had my luck when all of those tabs were open , then clicking on the original link in a new tab , rather than going thru the pany facebook vip - and another thing i noticed is that for me for a while the pany facebook vip store showed a bundle deal , and then it disappeared but the original link still worked

It's frustrating! Been at it for a couple of hours, no luck. Maybe it is a sign... I don't understand why it should be so tough to buy something...
I just "liked" them on FB, clicked on the FB link and registered with the Panny Buyers Program. Added the GH1 body-only to my cart for $425 + $1.99 for shipping.
It says estimated ship date 1-3 days.
I don't "need" another GH1...but for that price it's tempting to add a third camera angle during weddings...instead of buying two new GH2's and new batteries.

It also depends on what format you plan on shooting with. It is my understanding that the 720p modes are pretty much the same between the GH1 and the GH2 as they are both still limited to 17mbps. I tend to shoot a lot of 720p 60p footage on my Panasonic HMC40 so I figured at this price I have one heck of a nice second camera to match. Where else can you buy a high quality 720p 60p HD camera for $500.00?

Not exactly. GH2 has better color tone and better high key handling. Cinematic film mode. Rumored battery grip. Better MF control. Better EVF. Not exactly same codec either. GH2 has HDMI live out that is a game changer for better focusing. Unhackable GH1 body around $500 seems relatively expensive. Pay little more to get GH2... because you'd get GH2 eventually. I got GH1 because it was ridiculously cheap at $375 with 14-42 lens where Amazon is selling the lens at $199. I plan to sell the body immediately after getting GH2. I'm pretty sure the deal will come back... until Panny clears out the inventory.

Just got off of the phone with a rep who walked me through the process and the price is 499.95 for the bundle offer. She told me 375 is wrong, how if everyone here is buying it?? Are you guys buying the body only? Or does it have to do with joining with a business for the deal? I really want another GH1!

Just got my camera at work. Got the body and lens for $375.00. It is clear that the price must have been a glitch that is now fixed. I actually just contacted support this morning and they gave me a tracking number that said was on the truck for delivery. An hour later UPS dropped it off. Now to check the serial number...

Ok my serial number is WE0L which puts it at December 2010 so I'm almost positive is a no go for hacking. Oh well, it is still a fantastic camera that I will enjoy very much. I'm willing to bet most of the cameras will be unhackable since December is pretty late after the June cutoff.
