360 degree shoots???

I am sure some of you have seen those real estate websites or some other type of site that gives viewers a Virtual tour through a facility. I thought you just put a camera on a tripod and pan it around in 360 degree circle. I was told that in order to achieve that type of look I would need a still camera. Anyone have any experience with these type shoots? This will be for a real estate company.
 
go onto photoshop, and go to
-New
-Photomerge Panorama
Then just upload you pictures (tak the pictures on a tripod, and keep the tripod in place just spinning the camera around)

Suggestion: take the picture with a wide angle lens because you are going to cut off parts of the pictures

the press go and photoshop will do the rest, sometimes you will have to manually do if it cannot do it by itself

Once you have the finally picture just cut of the top and bottom
