Hello everyone,

Awhile ago I spent a lot of time researching to build my own 35mm adapter. I followed lots of great guides and built what I think is a pretty good adapter. Unfortunately, money is tight and I found that I have no job this summer. I have not used my 35mm adapter as much as I would have liked to so I am deciding to sell it. This is a home made adapter and it includes:

Daniel's Vibrating Ground Glass Holder

AlexMD's Coated 25 Micron Ground Glass (Extremley durable, you can even wash it, no need to worry about ruining the glass just by touching it!)
Opteka HD2 10x Macro Lens (Used as an achromat)
A Coated Bi-Convex Lens at the front (Used as a condenser)
Canon FD Mount

The only thing that this adapter is missing is a lens and the 55mm to 43mm step down ring. (I have a different size as I was not using an HV30). Please note that the position of the ground glass and the position of the Bi-Convex Condenser lens is set up for the Canon FD focal flange meaning it will only fully work with Canon FD lenses, unless you want to adjust the adapter yourself. I can help you find a 55mm to 43mm step down ring if you need to, they are not expensive and you should be able to find one for under $20.

The switch/battery holder is a design my father came up with. Not only is the speed completely adjustable with a small flat head screw driver but he made a three way switch with a special "Jump Start" feature (Great for use if your batter is running low). Middle is off, flip the switch up briefly to jump start it and then flip it down to continue running it. This way you do not have to mess with the speed (Although you can still do that if you want to!).

Please note, the following screen grabs are footage from a Sony HDR-HC5 which is a pretty low quality HD camera. Please keep this in mind while looking at the pictures.

Adapter is being sold AS IS.

The adapter and Shrigg Rig are $250 SHIPPED (Inside North America, International will be more expensive) Also, right now I am not considering selling the adapter and Shrigg Rig separate. If I have trouble selling, I may reconsider.

Thanks for looking!
