35mm Test Number Two

I've been playing for countless hours this past week or so on this homemade 35mm adapter and support rods. I've been too busy with this stuff to eat. And now, I think I'm ready to rip it apart and give up. Here's a little test of what I have right now:

The Depth of field looks fine there, but I've done some tests, and I don't think it's anything that I can't achieve with the DVX lens alone. I've realized that It's pretty useless for anything that's not an extreme closeup. It's a great close up adapter, but a bad 35mm adapter. Any wide shots at all are going to have just as deep depth of field as the DVX lens alone. Man, I wish I had money so I could just buy this stuff...

Your magnification is to powerful, you'll need to reduce this.

What are you using for macros (magnification)? What are you using for GG/screen?

Thanks.

Thanks.

I'm using 3 72mm Hoya closeup filters. A +4,+2,+1, in that order from the DVX lens.

There is no ground glass or focusing screen.
All there is to it is the adapter is the Macro elements and 35mm lens.

Thank ya.
