35mm adaptors and EFP

Sorry for what is probably an extremely baseline question, but we need to ask it just to make sure our assumptions are correct.

We are assuming that using a 35mm adaptor with the 500 simply does not work for quasi run and gun shooting.

By "quasi run and gun" we mean an outside project in which 50% of the shots are following the action (over which we have no control) and 50% which could be staged.

Let me withdraw this post. We just found a very recent thread that answered the question perfectly.

I'd like to answer it anyway from the point of view of someone who has attempted run and gun shooting with the HVX and a DOF adapter...ugh! Not worth it!
