35mm adapter help

Hi all,

I've been doing some research on 35mm adapters (the Letus35 Extreme, for example) and I must confess that it's left me kind of confused.

Basically I know nothing about lenses, rails, etc, and how it all fits together to give my DVX100A that really nice shallow DOF.

Could anyone enlighten me on how this all works? Thanks.

I've bought the Letus & I haven't yet tried it out how ever I think I'll try it out in a little and I'll come back and post the video of the footage.

basically if you don't know photography you will have a hard time learning but if you already know photography it's the same concept.
