32 Gig Card, Do I need Firm Ware?

I am renting a few 32 gig cards for a shoot this weekend and I am wondering if I need to update any firm ware? I already have a 16gig card and the firm ware for that but not sure if that will work for 32 gig too.

32 gig cards will work fine then if you already have a 16gig card and the firmware for it. No update necessary.

16 gig firmware should work, BUT, may I suggest you do a small test to make sure, I could think of nothing worse than fronting up to a remote shoot and your media cards don't work.
I always test my kit prior to a location shoot, a good habit to get into, more so with new gear.
