32/64Gb SxS cards in EX1R under Firmware v1.0

I wonder if anyone can tell me what the effect is of recording on an EX1R at 35Mb/s on to SxS-1 32 and 64gb cards.

I did so recently as part of a three camera shoot. Two of the EX1Rs were hired in, the other is ours. That and one of the hired in EX1Rs runs under firmware v1.20; only after the shoot I discovered that the other camera (the second of the hired in cameras) was still on v1.0. When I tried to export the clips from the card recorded to in this last camera using the Sony Browser, I could not do so. Sony's site suggests that these cards need v1.15. I should add that we own the 64Gb cards (purchased from the same dealer a year ago) and the 32Gb cards they include in the rental weren't used.

To compound my problem eventually I stupidly succumbed to Windows 7's error message and allowed it to scan and correct the file structure.

That last idiocy has probably put the video out of touch completely (although the card appears to have the right amount of recorded material on it) but I need to persuade the company which rented out the cameras that the out of date firmware was initially responsible for the problem. Needless to add the material recorded on another of our 64Gb cards on the other rented camera (as well as our own) running under v1.20 is fine. Unfortunately neither they nor I can replicate the problem because in a gesture of helpfulness I updated the firmware before I returned the camera - I've been a client for 30+ years and know everyone there as friends so this wasn't inappropriate, though obviously in retrospect it would have been a gesture best not done.
