30P SD to DVD Studio Pro

I've got a tape that I shot at 30P SD on an HVX200 and I'd like to edit the video in FCP in 30P and then get it into DVD Studio Pro and make a 30P DVD out of it that'll play on a 4:3 screen without any letterboxing...

Any suggestions on a workflow?

How do you mean??

It's 4:3 SD footage shot to tape and I want a 4:3 DVD that's progressive....

I have already tried editing it on a standard 60i timeline and outputting it to DVDSP, but I get interlacing lines in the DVD and there shouldn't be any...

I guess I should be more specific...

I captured from the HVX200 thru firewire using a standard DV NTSC capture preset. I layed the video down on the timeline and its gorgeous in the preview monitor...no interlacing lines or anything. I export a Quicktime file using "Current Settings" and import this Quicktime file as an asset in DVDSP. The video looks interlaced in the preview monitor in DVDSP, but I burned it anyway and took it to a standard def TV to play it back. It looks horrible...lots of interlacing lines. Since the HVX200 just doubles the 30 frames over the 60 fields for standard def 30P, and I've have no problems doing this in Avid except for the long wait time compressing with Sorenson, and the crappiness of Avid DVD. Just curious what I'm missing, and/or why DVDSP is trying to interpret field dominanace....

Use Compressor to do the compressing, not DVDSP, as you'll get more control and better quality. You can either do a Send To Compressor directly from FCP (this will tie up FCP until the compressing is done) or you can export at QT reference movie and load that into Compressor.
