30p clips

it's amazing the footage you can get out of these cameras right out of the box. if your shooting this with a tripod i'd give it a little slow pan to really make it pop.

The tripod I have right now sucks and doesn't pan good, so I didn't even want to try cause I knew how bad it would come out. I should be ordered a good fluid head tripod once I get my mail in rebait from Panasonic.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what progressive mode I should film skiing/snowboarding in? I kinda want to do just 30p/60i for that. 24p would be great but I don't know how that would look with all the fast speeds and stuff.

I shoot in 60i and then deinterlace in AE. I like it for the slow motion and what not.
