30p and post

I shot with the DVX100a last weekend and really loved the camera. We set it up at 30p, as we liked the way it looked better than 24p or 30 (60)i. But I've never worked in 30p before. What are the downstream ramifications? Do I have to post in a 30p FCP project? Should I be working in 29.97 (30i) to avoid post problems? {Although I can't imagine what they might be.}

Any experience in the 30p world would be a boon at this point.

You will edit 30p using the standard DV settings. You don't have to make any changes in your NLE. 29.97 timeline...lower field first, and you're good to go.
