30p..60i...30p..60i

I did a shoot a week ago and the camera was set at 30p. After I loaded the footage in FCP, it looks that it was going in and out of the progressive mode, sometimes 60i, sometimes 30p. I never use the camera at 30p, always 60i or 24p, but never had this problem before. Any clue?

What do you mean it "looks like it was going in and out..."? How are you "looking at it"?

Open the footage in Cinema Tools, press the "analyze footage" button and see what framerate it's at. Then come back and tell us what it says.

Could be that you were turning the camera on and off during the shoot. Every time you do, the scene file goes back to the last saved configuration, including frame rate.

that could be it , you need to be saving your scene files every time you tweek a setting. I have had this happen to me before it becomes a habit once you start doing this :smile:
