$30G watch reshoot

Hey guys, remember a while back I posted a Product shoot I did for a Thirty Thousand Dollar Diamond watch?
Well, per your suggestions I reshot it using a Lazy Susan and I got some Diopter filters to get in nice and close to the watch.
I did use some of the old shots still, as I liked the look of some of them.
Let me know what you think.

Here's the original for reference...

Wow that was fast...Didn't really notice any lazy susan shots though, but it looks much better than before, albeit i'm not sure about the snappy editing - You know how when something costs 30k they usually wanna go for the elegant feel to it - this looked young and fun.

Yeah I know exactly what you're talking about. They keep telling me they want the exact same video as they have on Chopard.com. The only thing is I can't get the same shots as they have....they're shooting on 35mm with some intese macro lense. Who knows, mabe I'll shoot it again. This is going on their website, which my Boss hasn't even designed yet. So I don't know, we'll see what happens.

I liked the original one better, it wasn't so fast paced and it actually made it look like an expensive watch, only on some shots it looked like someone was holding the watch causing some shakiness of it. The full front shots of the face looked great.
The second commercial was way to fast and you didn't give anyone time to examine and admire the watch.

The second commercial was really good, except I didn't like that you ramped the shots. Edit them together in the same fast way, but with normal or even slower video? Maybe fast edits with slo-mo could produce something cool. Also, I thought it was lacking of 1 shot, the shot where it establishes what the watch looks like. Maybe a full shot of the watch, on a lazy susan and slowly zooming in, and maybe some angling.

Edit:

This is a really nice shot. Keep it, and keep it the way it is.

I still like the first one the best, the problem with it was you're shots were shaky sometimes. I suggest recutting and keeping the music from the first one. It gave it a dreamy feel.

Also, the second shot in your second edit is 20 frames too long

all in all, i like the work. nice job

It's probably the white background... and the cheesy white bursts. instead of doing that, or shaking the image, you can use more steady shots and give the images a light flaring effect.
