You see our producer just ordered 3 hvxs' to do some shorts for the national(south america) tv channel. I'll leave the directing to the director ,but I'm the DP. We have magic bullet so we'll use that. As for the cameras We want a real professional look (film). Looking at some 35 mm adaptors with some of those zeiss (nikon mount) lenes.
1. Should I trick out one or two cameras with adptors?
2. Should we shoot film style one camera or soap opera style two or three?
3. We get use the studios' jimmy jib and glidecam v25 during weekdays.
4. Only $1600 for a light kit, any recomdations?
5. I have no clue as to what kind of work flow I should use :badputer: , Im thinking firestore, or p2, or um tape. Should I sync multipul cameras or just use the sound as an edit guide? DV rack what about that?
I useally direct multicamera shoots from a truck so most of this is new to me. So, see what you can tell me. Thanks
( the sun is the worlds' best key light, now only if we had another one with a diffuser)
