FS7: 3.5mm jack on FS7?

I've been looking for a standard 3.5mm jack port on the FS7 and I have had no luck... so can someone please tell me where this guy plugged his jack into on the FS7 for the record trigger? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6P5WNY76misThanks

You can see the cable in the video. Its going into the input usually used by the extension grip (Turn the camera upside down and look just past the well for XLR clearance.

oh! so that port doesn't only work with the grip? For example, will it work if I plugged a Rode Videomic into it?

I don't think it transfers audio information but data in the form of lanc commands like start/stop and all the ones Sony has programmed in for the grip. I don't think its connected to record audio to a recording but I've never tried it.

I think of it similar to how XLR can transmit sound or be used for power but you can't plug a mic into an XLR power port for sound.

On the right side under the little overhang. It plugs in upside down.
