I'm doing a two cam shoot later in the month. Am trying to digest all of the info about the new 150 camera. My current setup is the 100b, shooting anamorphic 24pA. I already planned on purchasing the Firestore that was HVX200 compatible, just in case I ever bought one - meaning that the P2 vs Tape vs SD Card is a non issue to me.
The project will be a motivational series delivered on DVD, 16:9 format.
Seeing that the 150 and a used 200 are going for around the same price, which would be a better route for me to take so both cameras look the same (will downres to SD).
After this project the 100b will be relegated to the closet and pulled out for multi-cam shoots. THe new camera will by my new workhorse.
My biggest question is, will you see a big difference between the anamorphic format from the 100b and the native 16:9 from the newer cameras?
