GH4 2fps: 24p or 30p source doesn't matter, right?

I'm right that when shooting at 2fps, it doesn't matter whether or not I'm in 24p or 30p mode, right? It's going to shoot 2 frames per second regardless, and it just depends on what kind of settings my project has when rendering.

That is, I could shoot a 2fps clip in 30p, and drop it into a 24p timeline and it would look exactly the same as if I had shot it in 24p (and the same with a 24p clip in a 30p project)? I just want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something.

By the way, I tried shooting with a 180-degree shutter (which would be 1/4 sec shutter speed, I believe), as well as 1/60 (assuming a 30p rendering), and I much prefer the look of the former. YMMV.

Thanks.

I performed my own test, shooting something at 2 fps 24p and 30p, and put each into a 30p timeline. I couldn't notice a difference, but as I wasn't able to perfectly duplicate the contents of each clip, I might have missed one if one exists.

Does anyone know for sure?

I guess there could be a difference in Max Bitrate, which theoretically might be met more times in a 30p mode than in 24p, as each single frame would perhaps have a lower maximum size and, if processing would be done 30 times a second, the number of times it could occur is also higher.

And I guess my problem is I don't understand the meaning of 24p or 30p mode in relation to shooting at 2 fps. I understand the clip is marked 24p or 30p, and that determines how the clip looks when played, but I don't have a clue if / how it affects frame-by-frame capturing.

If your guess is right, then I'm better off sticking with 24p. Might as well, since I have to choose one or the other. Thanks!
