29.97-to-23.98 HELP!!!

Hey Guys, I need your help. I am relatively new to this forum and the DVX100A. I am rough cutting a commercial and I just noticed that the footage was captured accidentally at 29.97 (I grew suspicious after viewing it and then I checked the Item properties on several of the clips) and sure enough-29.97. My sequence is 23.98 and I need the footage to be 23.98. What do you suggest I do to change all the clips? I really hope I haven't wasted alot of time rough-cutting the spot. What is the best way to get the 29.97 to 23.98 without losing my edits or the progress made in my sequence? Should I mark offline and then recapture at 23.98? Can I use cinema tools to convert the 29.97 clips to 23.98. I am clueless...please give me your suggeestions. Any input is greatly appreciated! You guys are great.

Ok...I am trying to figure out the best way of doing this....and because I don't know what I am doing, I am experiencing a bit...I went into Cinema tools and did a batch conform on all of my video clips that are 29.97...I conformed them to 23.98....then went back FCP HD and all of the clips were marked offline because of the conformation...so I reconnected the media clips by pointing to the conformed 23.98 clips....It then marked all of the files online with the new 23.98 settings....BUT.......no go......all the audio for my clips was SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW......
What should I do? Should I mark offline and re-capture at the correct 23.98? What do you suggest? Please help. Thanks.

I don't know any other NLE than Vegas, so this may not apply to you. Can you 'force' a 2:3:3:2 pulldown on the captured clips? Then if you put it on the timeline, it should automatically match 23.98? I don't know about sound, though...
