My bro just picked up 50 dollars in makeup (blood, latex, makeup, gum, etc) and Sunday is the day. Have the whole thing SB'd out. Ill keep the latex out of the hair!
The one thing I never got was the CG "Picasso-ish" flower (field of flowers actually) shot when they're traveling through the country side. I read somewhere about a metaphor or something but others didn't get it either. Otherwise, I still loved that film.
He said in the commentary that people either loved that shot or hated it. I personally thought it was different, but I liked it. If I made the film, I'd kept it in too...
28 Day Later was pimpin'. Except the ending. The ending was weak. I saw the DVD and the alternative endings and thought they were all weak. They should've had a 28 months later ending.
I would have taken out the opening scene (monkeys) and opended with Jim in Coma. Removed military scenario and introduced a band of survivors. The end? I would have left it to a more classic zombie ending, as in "Everyone is screwed"
Danny Boyle is my favorite director because i think his movies are so off the wall and i think danny boyle should make a second trainspotting in dv(On the DVX) i think that would look very nice.
my fav scene in 28 days is the one shot when they stop the taxi and Jim Says" The whole city" i just love the way that shot looks and the car mounted with the xl1s pointing at the back right tire as they are driving! very cool.
The Dvd could have had a better BTS with more on DV and the XL1. mabye on the 15th aniverary Danny will come out with a 3 disc set of more 28 days stuff
WTF? My parents don't care what i see plus i understand them so its ok. I own Every Boyle Move(Shallow Grave,Trainspotting Directors Cut,The Beach,28 Days Later)

And this is the reason I fear the future. Reading that made me die a little.
Part of me thinks Mike was just pulling a "Hey, my parents are cool, they don't care." attitude. But, actually, his parents are VERY strict. He's rebelling by getting on this board and trying to be cool. Which he is the furthest thing from. Nobody is cool at age 14, 18, etc. Mike, when you're older you'll realize just how "uncool" you really are.
Maybe your parents don't care, but I sure do. NOW PUT THOSE R RATED MOVIES AWAY. YOUR DEVELOPING BRAIN IS GETTING FRIED. Seriously!
