25p to 24p

My FS700 was in the PAL region setting… and I accidentally recorded 1080p at 25fps rather than 24fps. (codec / AVCHD)

I need to convert the footage to 24p.
In the past I've used hardware at a lab, but I shot this for free, and I'm paying for the conversion.
I don't want to compromise the quality, but I liked to spend as little as possible.
Any suggestions?

Start a project @ 25P in an NLE
Layout the media on a video track
Export as a file seq like DPX
Export the audio as WAV
Start a project @ 23.976 in an NLE
Import the DPX
Import the WAV
timewarp the audio to fit the video
Export a highquality QT for your client

if your NLE of choice does not do a good job of timewarping audio then send the audio to a DAW of some flavor, i use Avid|DS and it does a perfect audio conversion.

If you have Premiere, just import the 25P footage into a 23.97 project, select all the clips and adjust the interpretation as 23.97 and the individual clips should playback fine. If you have just nat sound, you will be fine.

Thank you guys for the help!
