I used the new driftwood hack orion 4b for my GF2 that is PAL. I need to make sure that my final output will be in 24p which is ntsc which is what i use for with my main cam gh2. my question is , is it better to shoot at 25p with my gf2 and conform with Cinematools at 24p or is it better to switch the gf2 settings to ntsc but end up as 30p? thanks

Shoot at the frame rate that most closely matches your intended delivery format.
Conforming 30p to 24p lends a slight slo-mo effect to the final look. Fine if that's intended, but otherwise don't use.

It's hardly discernable the conform change from 25p to 24p except if it's artifially lighted as pal shoots at 50 megahertz and NTSC at 60 megahertz then you see the
the horizontal line movement. However if I stuck to 30p and conform to 24p it is slow motion plus the sound is no longer audible. So therefore it is better to get a pal gf2 cam if you needed it for a b cam. NTSC only shoots at 30p for gf2
