25p editing

Hi to everyone! It is great to know there is a forum about the Panasonic cameras. I think this is the best place to post my technical questions since I own an ag-dvx100a (PAL version). My concerns are about video editing in 25p mode. I use Avid Xpress Pro 5.0 to edit my footage. I'm here because I'm planning to shoot a live concert with 5 ag-dvx100 cameras, all in 25p shooting mode, and I'd like to sort all the worries out about what type of project I should start with my Avid. Should I start a common dv 25interlaced project or a dv 25progressive project? The final sequence will be mastered on a PAL dvd and the mpeg2 file will be created using Sorenson Squeeze 4.1. Since I bet many of you have already gone through this subject in your productions, I would like to get some suggestions to make my work in the most correct way, especially for what concerns the editing and compression. This is the first time I want to use 25p shooting mode in my life, so, please, be patient. Thank you very much.

I know next to nothing about the Avid (have one, hate the interface), but if you're going to shoot progressive, why would you want to drop the footage on anything but a progressive timeline ?

Furthermore, I think you should have posted this in the Avid section.
