25p 24p need help

Hi i have avid xp pro 4.3.1
Have Panasonic DVX100e (pal version)
All material fotage 25p (all the time)
When capturing on avid in 25p mode have big problem
- no audio sync.
When capturing 24p mode audio and video ok?
When capturing in 25i mode audio and video is ok ?
I want to edit in 25p mode and its not possible because
when i play from timeline NO AUDIO SYNC (like 24fps)
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

This is now the second person who has indicated an out of sync issue when working with 25p in Xpress Pro. Can you please send your full system configuration: OS, version, etc.?

I am getting some reports about a known sync issue for 25p on Xpress Pro when using software only (doesn't happen with Mojo). Can you confirm whether you are working with a Mojo or not?

I hve't Mojo.
If i have 25p projeci in timeline - no audio sunc ,but when
add small clip imported to 25p from 25i and add it to
timeline wher have 25p material - audio sync is OK ???
I think in25p mode video is 25fps but audio 24fps

I am waiting to get confirmation from engineering on 25p projects only without Mojo having playback sync issues. As soon as I hear I will post information on exact situatiuon an updates that might be available.

I can confirm that 25p without mojo doesn't work. It was the first time I wanted to work in a 25p project. So I tried it on our video computer at work. All the audio sync is screwed in my footage captured in 25p.

I guess I will recapture in 25i to be able to work. For a first try of 25p project, that doesn't make me very happy. It doesn't seems very serious from a compagny like avid. I thought they had better quality.

I was thinking of getting it too for my editing at home, the complete suite look so amazing. But if they release so buggy software at that price,... now I'm puzzled maybe I will try some other software. Vegas seems to have a good popularity around here. Maybe it's worth a try

Sorry about that, the fix for 25p without Mojo is part of the very soon to be release 4.3.5.

A little burdy said that it will ship by the end of this month (June/2004).

I was the second person with that issue. Now i am the third.
And i guess it happens to evreyone without mojo.
I tell a frind of mine who has the same avid version to run a test.
I will report but i am deeply sure what´s going to say.

I hope the fix comes quick. I left a couple of projects because of that.
