25fps & scene cine; problems in post?

Hi everyone,

I hope you can help.

I have been using my DVX100 almost exclusively interlaced. I have now been asked to shoot for a particular project with virtually no time to do any testing. I have been asked to used either the F5 (25fps) or F6 (scene cine) settings.
I will be also editing it. I will be using FinalCutPro 3 (I know, quite old uh) and DigiEffects CineLook & CineMotion which I have used extensively as FCP plug-ins (they are great).
It might be a silly question, so apologies in advance, but here I am anyway. Is anyone aware of problems using CineLook & CineMotion when shooting 25fps? Also, any ideal setting to have a smooth footage?
I tested the camera at 25fps some time ago to cars in movementand noticed that, IMHO, the motion blur was a bit excessive, making the footage a bit too 'jumpy.' I am not sure whether my settings did not help in that case.
Would shutter at 1/50th a good choice when shooting in 'scene cine' mode?

I will check on the FAQ in this website, but once again I found myself with virtually no time at all. I'd appreciate an insight froom anyone who can give me a hand.

Finally. I have recently uploaded on the web my latest short film, 'How Does It Feel?' which I shot with my DVX100. I used F1 and it looks great.
It can be viewed at: http://www.myspace.com/sowhatfilms.
It was heavily rendered in post using DigiEffects CineLook and CineMotion. Which is why I'd like to keep on using them. Feel free to have a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
