24pa Playback issues on dvd and in computer.

I'm not at home right now so I can't check but I'm having kind of a strobe and maybe field render problem it seems on my footage. It appears like that in AE, in QT, and on DVD. Not quite sure if it looks like this on Avid will check. What would you guys suggest the problem is. I'm thinking my avid has the wrong setting I know its a 23.976 timeline but maybe I forgot to make it 2:3:3:2 or maybe it set it to render lower or upper field instead of field off.

Sure but I shot footage two weeks ago (test) and put that on 16:9 dvd worked just fine so I think I just missed a step in my workflow but not sure which one I missed.

My workflow is something like this capture 24pa squeezed footage to avid in 23.976 timeline with advanced pulldown 2:3:3:2. Do some inital editing export QT ref native dimensions to AE apply effects and cc then export back to avid, then to Encore for authoring. My programs seem to reconize its 16:9 footage which is good. I hope my problem is my timeline isn't 2:3:3:2 becaue that would be an easy fix but I'm just not sure what the problem is.

Stopped home for lunch my timeline setting was at standard pulldown not advance so there is my issue. My question now is if I change the pulldown to 2:3:3:2 will it work or do I have to change the pulldown then recapture?
