24pa frame looks like it is very jagged

I was reviewing some wedding footage shot in 24pa. Once in a while there are some frames which are unusable. The look jagged or completely like an out of sync interlaced two frames comming together. Any ideas?

I don't have the orginal footage any more to review, this may be caused by my NLE.

If it happens again, e-mail it to me so I can look at it up close.

It's likely the blended frame, it happens once every five frames. If you're editing in a native 24P timeline you'll never see it, if you're editing 60i then you'll see it every five frames. There's nothing wrong, it's something that needs to be there to conform 24fps footage to work in a 60i television system.

Thank you for the information. I am using Premier Pro. I just downloaded the 30 day free trial of Vegas. It looks ok in vegas. Do I have to upgrade to Premier Pro 1.5 for 24pa or should I drop adobe all together and go with Vegas?

Yes, you need Premiere Pro 1.5

1.0 doesn't support 24P native editing (easily)
