24pa footage captured incorrectly - now what?

perhaps

alright, we did a student film shoot with the DVX100a shooting in 24PA mode. the problem is, the editing systems at our labs do not have the capabilities to import the footage using 2:3:3:2 pulldown. they have Premiere (though i'm not sure what version), and apparently the advisor will NOT let us take the footage to our systems, where we can capture the footage with a newer version.

so right now, the footage has been captured with the 2:3:2:3 pulldown. since there's absolutely no way to get the original footage now and redo it, how much damage is done? we have to edit on their systems, and i haven't been on them yet, but i'm trying to salvage the project. how will 24PA footage look when imported in the incorrect pulldown? what timeline should i import the footage on?

can anyone give me some advice now?

Just import the footage on a regular 29.97 timeline and you'll be fine. There is only a *small* difference in visible cadence between footage with a 2:3:3:2 (24pA) pulldown and a 2:3:2:3 (24p Normal) pulldown. By editing on a 29.97 timeline, you just leave the pulldown in, and don't have to worry about it.
