I know that this might seem like a dead horse, but I'm still very confused about just how all of these mix together in a sequence.
I recently shot a project in which I have 24P, 24PA and 60 I.
Some of this footage is on the same tape.
When taking it into FCP, I don't seem to have a problem with the footage that was shot in 24P and 60I. It all appears to come together in the same sequence without any problems.
My question is, what do I do if I want to also add some footage that was shot in 24PA? Using the 2:3:3:2 pulldown, I will now be dealing with 23.98 vs 29.97 for 60I and 24P.
Is there a way to put it all into the same sequence? or will I have to change the 23.98 back to 29.97 in Cinetools?
