24p vs 30i avid project from final cut

I started a project in final cut editing in a 23.97 timeline with
2:3:3:2 pulldown (my footage is 24p advanced shot on a panasonic dvx
100a camera). I want to continue the project in avid express pro, but don't have mojo.

Can I import an edl from my original fc project and have it auto conform
properly? Would the avid project have to be 23.97p or can it be 30i?
I would cut the project in 23.97p, but I don't know how to
output it at 30 so it can run on network tv or even see it in my client
monitor without buying mojo.

I have avid express pro version 4.3.0

You can export a shot log from FCP and import it into Xpress Pro using Avid Log Exchange to convert the shot log into the ALE format. The sequence would have to be done via EDL. See here on how to do that:

http://www.24p.com/30_24.htm

Just ignore the 30 to 24 conversions as I am assuming that FCP can create a 24 frame EDL.

You can create a 30 frame EDL and continue working in a 30i project if you want.

As far as outputting a master from a 23.976 timeline in that version, you can always output your final edited sequence as a QT reference, bring it into After Effects if you have it, apply a 2:3 insertion effect, render it using the Avid Codec and bring it into a 30i project for final output.
