24P Vrs 24PA Which is better?

Is there an aesthetic quality difference one can notice from between 24P and 24PA on the DVX100A? I about to shoot for the Sci-Fi competition and I am wondering which frame rate would be best. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

visualy there is no real diff- 24Pa is for pure 24 frame editing/DVDs.

If you're going to remove the 2:3:3:2 pulldown and edit in 24p, then shoot 24pA. The 2:3:3:2 24 pA pulldown is meant to be removed (it's meant for acquisition only). If what I just wrote doesn't make any sense to you, just shoot 24p Normal.

Thank you for that answer that was my question was the visual difference. I do own the book by Barry which explained the technicalities but not the visual difference if any.
