24p timeline with 60p footage

I don't understand why I can't put 60p footage in Media composer anymore. I used to be able to mix frame rates but now I get errors saying I can't. I editing that "Lets stay together" video with different frame rates and it went without a hitch. The last 4 projects after the music video all have given me this problem. What the hell.

Ok, I figured it out. I wanted to do slow motion footage and what I did was go to the format and changed it to 720pn 30P in recording settings when I should have just changed frame rate in the scene file settings which still keeps the footage at 24pn.
DOH!!!!
