24p Timeline HELP!

Ok doing this project in FCP 5, 23.98 timeline.

I captured footage shot at f6 advanced, captured in 29.97, did the tools: remove advanced pull down, WORKS FINE,

but

same exact settings on f6 footage and I am getting this error message when I do the Remove Advanced Pulldown under the tools tab...

"Frames starting near t are not encoded at 24P" -
what the hell does that mean, I know I shot in f6 the whole way through.

Anyone have this problem?
 
That will work... make sure you record colour bars at the start and end of each shot/scene, I usually record color bars for about 2 minutes at the start of a new tape, then about 10 seconds between anything I shoot. After I stop recording I hit the rec chk button, this ensures your camera picks up a sequential field and will continue to record from that point when you start again.
