I was talking to a very reputable person in the intdustry and they explained that they shoot moto cross with these setting.

"I shoot with the HVX200. I shoot at 24pn at 24 frame rate and 24pn at 60 frame rate for slo-mo."

My question is were they say they shoot 24pn at 60 frame rate??? how do you do this....if i have my DVX100B set to 24p...can i change the frame rate to 60??

You don't. The DVX can't do native slow motion. He's using an HVX.

Best you can do on the DVX is shoot 60i and convert to 60p-24p in post. Not as much detail, but they same speed of motion.

Playing 60 frames back at 24fps timebase creates slow motion effect, which can't be accomplished with the DVX. seeing that it is bound by tape recording
