Hello everyone I recently purchased a DVXb and have been reading a lot on this board and other places. You'll prob be hearing from me a lot!!
But my first question is 2-fold:
I realize that 60i footage will give you the best slo mo, but are there any tips that can make slo mo with 24P footage look as smooth as possible? Or, would it be better to shoot in 60i, do the slo mo (40-50% in Vegas), then render the clips as 24P and playback in a 24P timeline? Would doing that work or would it just give me the same end result as slowing down native 24P footage?
And similarly, putting the slo mo factor aside altogether, if i shoot 60i with the DVX, then render that footage to 24P and playback in a 24P timeline in Vegas, would there be a significant difference in the motion (as opposed to shooting in 24P)?
Thanks!
