24p question

If i shoot at 24p on my dvx100b, Can I just import on a 60i timeline, and interpret footage then change that to 23.98? or do I need an NLE that transfers in 24p? I'm using PP7.0

PP7.0 doesn't support 24P editing. The NLE has to remove the pulldown from the 29.97 stream, and that will give you the original 24 frames. PP1.5 was the first version to support 24p, but it had some bugs. PP2.0 works quite well.

You can still edit your footage fine in a 29.97 timeline, it won't be true 24p, but it will look the same as 24p when viewed on a television. Just use the regular DV settings in Premiere.
