24p Playback

Starting the second season with a show that shoots entirely in 24p. We were using a new 100b and set, per the show specs, Scene 6 up to shoot 24p.

When playing back tape in the camera it did not look like it had recorded at 24p. We played it in the backup 100a and it looked the same.

We then set up Scene 5 and used it for the show. But it also did not look like 24p when recording or playing back.

We triple checked the settings so I'm sure they're correct. I am familiar with the look of 24p from the first season of the show. Any ideas why this would be looking different?

Also, just in case we have screwed up this story, can it be "fixed in post?"

Thanks!

Thanks...but the tape was immediately sent to Conn....being transcribed, etc....will be weeks before it's edited and there isn't really any way for use to get that checked.

Well when you were recording did it say 24p on your LCD or EVF? Did you capture to a hard drive, laptop or external recorder, or go straight to tape? Did you use the F5 or F6 scene files right out of the box or did you mod them?
