24p Or not to 24p

Me and some friends are working on a tv show that will be broadcast on a local tv channel. We are filming it in a studio, with a host and co-host and we are debating on filming the in studio activity in 24p for a film type look. But I am not sure if it will look too great since most studio work seems to be 29.97.

Anyone have any advice for "the look"?

24p (no advanced pulldown) might look good, although most people under 35 or so have probobly never seen a studio host show shot on anything but 60i.
