24p or 60i for large screen event

Hey kids...got a quick opinion for all. Doing a event where the end product will be presented on huge 18' X 30' widescreen display (that's the specs he gave me) My client is leaning toward shooting 24p but I'm hesitant because I think the strobing is going to be to much on a screen that size. I know if I limit my movements that should help but I think that could be to much to sacrifice. Has anyone had any experience with 24p on a screen this size?

Second opinion is....shooting with the anamorphic lens. Any pit falls to watch out for displaying on a screen that size?

Thanks Guys:

the thing is...I don't know. I've never scene 30p on a screen this large. 30p would be less strobing though. I guess the determinig factor is if my client is mixing stock footage with the footage we will be shooting.

Thanks for your input

Steve

Feature films (running at 24 fps) have been doing this since sound movies on screens bigger than this.

Stobing is not usually an issue unless you're making random fast pans/tilts of high contrast backgrounds with no foreground.
