I do not have mojo. Therefore I will be capturing in 29.97 because I usually output to tape and DVD. From what I have read 29.97 is the way to go essentially. However, I also keep hearing about removing advanced pulldown. So should I film in 24Pa, capture in 29.97 and remove advanced pulldwon or film in 24P and capture normally in 29.97. Thanks in advance. These boards are amazing.

Depends on what version you are using. All recent Xpress Pro versions (Mac and PC) can remove ADVANCED pulldown, but you need a Mojo for output back to NTSC DV from 4.6 and earlier.
With v.5.0 you can output pulldown directly over FireWire with no need for a Mojo.
With v.5.1 you can capture NORMAL pulldown directly over FireWire.
