Sorry folks, searching for threads and no luck. Basically, shooting a doc on in 1080i24p, with pipe dreams of going to film. Any issues to be aware of with 24pa? I realize the pulldown differences (I think), and that 24pa is better for transferring to film (go pipe dreams, go). In the end, anything can be transferred to film, right? (sorry, TBD post-house). On the other hand, I'd love to shop this doc around to Discover HD. They hate 24p stuff, don't they? I've heard so many arguments on the right format to choose on that my brain is fried, and I'm starting to shoot tomorrow. What is truly the best universal format to shoot on. Discover HD want 1080i 60, 24pa is best for film transfer, 720p 30 is acceptable for up conversion....blah blah...oh yeah and all networks hate the HVX and consider it HDV. So what's the real skinny here?
